“China MOC Sincere Galleries Artshow”
 
Showcase of hundreds of contemporary Chinese artworks at the Hong Kong Arts Centre

In 2008, while China sets her footprints on the top of the international stage rising of contemporary Chinese arts attract worldwide attention. 

 In December, 2008, the “Art China” exhibition, demonstrating the efforts and achievements of the Contemporary Chinese artists, was successfully held in Beijing and captured the world’s attention.  The event, renamed as “China MOC Sincere Galleries Artshow”, held in Hong Kong from 27 December 2008 (Saturday) to 2 January 2009 (Friday) at the Hong Kong Arts Centre’s Pao Galleries. The exhibition is hosted by China Ministry of Culture Marketing Development Centre and co-organized by Beijing Zhongwenfa International Cultural Exchange Co., Ltd, Asia International Arts Organization, Today Art Museum and supported by China Ministry of Culture Marketing Centre.

 The opening ceremony of the “China MOC Sincere Galleries Artshow” was held at the Hong Kong Art Center.  Mr. Zhang Xin-jian, Ministry of Cultural Market Department of Culture Ministry, Mr Hui Yue Ming, Chairman of Beijing Zhongwenfa International Cultural Exchange Co., Ltd, Mr George Kaku, Executive President of Asia International Arts Organization officiated the opening ceremony. Mr. Lu Wei-hua, President of Belgium Trade Association, Mr. Gao Ka Yu, President of The Hong Kong Teachers Society, Dr. Dominic Lam, Hong Kong renowned artist and many other mainland and overseas artists and art exhibitors also attended the ceremony.  The exhibition offered a unique opportunity for all guests to share their valuable knowledge and experience.

 A ribbon cutting ceremony and special lion-dancing in jazz music was held as a prelude to the ceremony following by a preview tour the hundreds of priceless and sophisticated artworks created by noted contemporary Chinese artists, such as Cai Guoqiang, Xia Junna, Ji Dachun, Feng Zhengjie, Li Jikai, Liu Ye, Pan Dehai, Qiu Guangping, Yue Minjun, Zeng Fanzhi and Zhang Xiaogang.

 As a highlight in the China and local art sector in 2008 and 2009, “China MOC Sincere Galleries Artshow” reflects the professionalization and business development of the mainland art galleries.

 About “Art China”

With generous support from the China Ministry of Culture Marketing Development Centre and China Ministry of Culture Marketing Centre, the “Art China” exhibition was held from 5 December 2008 in Beijing. The one-month exhibition is the highlight in 2008 art calendar with a series of Chinese contemporary art promotion campaigns. 

 The main purpose of “Art China” is to encourage promotion of Chinese contemporary arts by Chinese art corporate, so that more public can understand and appreciate the Chinese mainstream art and recognize the great Chinese culture. Meanwhile, it opens the door for international market and intellectual sector to understand the development of China contemporary martin a more comprehensive and in-depth way.

 About “China MOC Sincere Galleries Artshow”

“China MOC Sincere Galleries Artshow” has been held for 3 consecutive years since its debut in 2005, and enjoyed great success with support from various parties, especially the mainland galleries.  The exhibition also helps mainland galleries to promote their sincere theory in running business and connect them with the international art market.

 Since its first accreditation by the China Ministry of Culture in 2004, 48 galleries in different provinces have already been recognized as “China MOC Sincere Gallery” till October 2008, setting a good model for other galleries.  The exhibition offers a valuable platform for collectors and artists to interact and demonstrates the outstanding quality of the Chinese galleries.
