亞洲國際當代藝術文化促進會執行主席 郭融先生演講稿
主題：﹝打造明日之星﹞

各位嘉賓，藝術家，收藏家，媒体人，各位朋友：
今天是﹝星星香港﹞第一屆香港當代藝術選拔展開幕典禮及揭獎儀式。經過一年來的籌備並與藝術家的交流，我們的宗旨與使命，大家都已經很清楚。今天我要講的是在近百件參賽作品的收集過程中，我看到了香港與國內藝術家的敬業精神和對藝術的熱愛，熱情，直率，令我很感動，很佩服。珍惜藝術家，推動藝術家是我們義不容辭的任務。香港的藝術家大部分是默默耕耘，國內的藝術家比較活躍，然而大家都有一個成為[明日之星]的夢.我們要凝聚起來，利用我們有限的資源，去創造無限的機會與未來。從今天開始，國內與香港藝術家應多作互動，合作。我們要創造學術性的藝術理論與藝術成果。利用我們所創意的這個﹝香港當代藝術選拔展﹞平台，每年延續舉辦與參與，創造藝術奇跡與代表性，並與藝術市場接軌。
今后香港藝術家和國內藝術家將會有很多機會參加我們亞洲國際藝術組織為藝術家開路而舉辦的其他有特色的藝術活動和藝術拍賣會，使藝術家們有機會大顯身手，發揮潛力，百花齊放，向當代藝術大題目邁進，發掘更多的創意，實踐更多的成就，對當代藝術作出貢獻。中國的當代藝術包括香港當代藝術的發展有待藝術家們的見證與表現，心體力行。這樣，在國際上才有機會發揚光大。
能夠成功主辦這個盛會，確實不容易。大家的凝聚，互動及參與是成功的力量。希望我們共同進退，共同努力，正確地促進中國包括香港的當代藝術。
最后，我要宣佈：﹝打造明日之星﹞是亞洲國際藝術組織的目標與口號。

Ladies and Gentlemen,
Today is the opening ceremony & honours award of the [Starlight Hong Kong] the 1st Hong Kong Contemporary Arts and Honours Show. I think most of the artists here have known already clearly the aim and mission of us.
I would say: [ To Create The Star of Tomorrow ] is our target and slogan. Let us be condensed together, using the limited sources to innovate the unlimited chances and future.
From now on, the Hong Kong local artists are expected to communicate and cooperate more with the mainland Chinese artists. It is to create much more academic art theory and art achievement, using this, our creative platform of [ Hong Kong Contemporary Arts Honours Show ] to be held and participated continuously every year, to make the new big wanders of art and the representative power in Contemp. arts. There will be much more chances for the artists to join our many coming art events and art auctions to be carried out step by step.

Center for this events for their kind ever support and also thanks to the guests and members of selection panel, our partner Orbis hk , Red town arts group , all artists and medias.
